Hello darkness, my old friend. Tis another paper plate…

Nice medium rare cook!

Why is there so much liquid?
Actual internal temp looks pretty good and I was surprised to see that. Grill marks remind me of an Applebees commercial but I’ve seen worse. Paper plates are unfortunate but the steak knife is criminal.
I’d eat it but you’ve got a lot of room for improvement

Outside looks like something I’d buy from ruby tuesdays. Inside looks great. Probably should’ve cooked it on a hotter grill so it locks in the juices more Rate: I wouldn’t complain while eating, Looks absolutely delicious

let it rest a bit before you put it on the plate lmao

Looks fine. I would personally put a cast iron or other flat surface on the grill with high heat oil and heat it until it’s over 500, that way your outside is crustier.
But you got the cook temp right and it looks delicious!
Don’t post on the internet with a paper plate… lol

I don’t know why people don’t like grill marks. This steak looks good to me. I prefer grilled steak over skillet though, particularly charcoal. I like medium, this looks med rare. Otherwise this is a nice cook imo

Have some pride in your cook. Use a real plate.

Plate checks out.

Poor sear Poor rest Poor plate
Great internal temp though, looks like it would go down well despite some shortcomings.

Id prefer way more of a sear… forget the grill marks.. all looks does nothing for taste.

Some of my criticisms would be 1. If your gonna use a grill it has to be super hot charcoal, electric grills are a waste of time they don’t get hot enough. 2. Focus on the sear more I recommend a really hot cast iron pan for the most consistent and best sears. 3. Let rest longer
But you cooked it to a great temp even with all my critiques I bet that steak still tasted great.
