The last Smoker I owned was old, just a barrel, nothing this fancy. Person left this behind, used maybe twice, nothing broken always covered. I resell items on Marketplace but this has been sitting. I don't smoke often but am thinking I should clean this and keep instead!

How should I best knock the rust out and bring er back to life??

I have the exact unit. Get it hot. Damn hot. Foil line the racks if you are realy concerned.

I spray mine with vegetable oil. It definitely helps prevent rust, and will extend the life of your smoker!

That thing is in my backyard!!!! Houston kikes to keep it at 100° for me, so im like half way to 225 before i even lite the fire!!!!

Its pretty decent, the big tin foil trays fit in there, i think i paid $100 a few yrs ago. It certianly isnt the best, but it gets the job done!

I have the same one. The hot box just tends to rust but it works just the same. Like someone else said, get it super hot. It’s hard to hold heat on these

Yes!!! DynaGlo Vertical Offset Smoker. My first grill ever.

Embarrassingly got the most middle aged man tattoo of her on my calf haha

Get gasket tape for all the doors and then Gasket cement for the chimney and any other leaks and you’ll be set after a few seasonings. It’s honestly a great smoker that is easy to control temps and pumps in the smoke.
