Cook the bacon & set aside. Butter and then toast the buns on the griddle. Thin slice the onions. Make my own burger sauce. It contains ketchup, mustard, mayo and fine diced pickle. Lay everything out, close to the griddle. 3 oz patties that I minced myself. (I used a sirloin roast and added some fat trimmings). Salt, pepper and some Weber Burger Bomb seasoning. Steam the buns atop the burgers & onions while cooking. Add bacon and cheese after the flip. I made 1 single for my wife. 1 double for me. I’m stuffed!
Today I decided to cook on our has range in the kitchen. Cast iron slab atop the racks. When I cook outside I use the same cast iron slab on my BBQ.
