This is day, four of our eight day trip up from Florida. Since being here we’ve probably picked about 60 pears and 20 apples, 4 gallon buckets of tomatoes, 40 potatoes and onions each, a basket of cumbers, zucchini and squash, a gallon of green beans and a handful of peppers. Gardens are about 20×60 (3 of them).

    A greenhouse could keep those tomatoes going in the winter. Tomatoes are actually extremely tender perennials.
