Should I be bringing these indoors for winter? I’m in the UK
It’s getting quite cold at night now and don’t want these to die.

Yes but make sure to prune, clean the plant down and change the soil!! I got ahead of myself and bought a whole lot of bugs inside with the compost they were in 🙁

The chilli will probably overwinter if you cut it back and take it inside. People try all sorts of things with basil but they really are annuals. Before it gets too cold and the plant dies, make a last hurrah pesto!

If you don’t want to change the soil, get some stone or grit and cover the top of the soil with it. It will hinder any bugs in the soil from escaping into your home.
