Great value and tasty pizza, but not the best in Naples.

“Hey, Luigi! Keep it in the oven a little bit longer. Let’s melt that cheese.”
“Mario. I love you as a brother, but trust me, the customers like the thick worms effect.”

Isn’t this with the extra cheese which costs more? I consider Da Attilio and Sorbillo to be better

Many restaurants in Naples use the exact same recipe and ingredients for a pizza margherita, so your experience comes down to the freshness and generosity of ingredients on that day. My single experience at da Michele was fantastic, and it beats most others for price. It’s not the most photogenic, but people calling it a “tourist trap” are just correcting for the over-hype. It’s still great.
Best pizza I have ever had…I mean Mozzarella originating from there helps.
I live in Germany now (am American) and when I was 6 months pregnant I was craving pizza like no other, specially one from a pizzeria in Naples. Well, decided fuck it; boarded a flight the next morning to Naples, ordered my pizza and spend the rest of the day walking around, eating pizza again for dinner and gelato for dessert, then flew back home again that very night (had enough miles for a round trip).

I think that cheese texture might make me gag
I don’t know where u live an it’s not looking good but for 4.50 ^^
If I buy one here it costs mostly 10 – 14 bucks
If you posted this exact picture and said it was from America there would be a thousand raging comments from angry Italians and angry “Italians”
Literally one week ago I paid 6 euros for the same pizza at the same place. How is it 4.50 now?
BTW it was VERY disappointing, wasted an hour waiting for a subpar pizza.

IMO Da Michele is not even close to the best. Starita literally made me cry.
Looks yummy
The more I see pizza from Italy, the more I am disappointed
