Tight on counter space over here but it works for me. Mostly a cortado household. I've been thinking about the Gaggiuino mod for my GCP but I have zero wiring experience. Is it difficult? Worth it?

I did Gaggiuino and yes it is worth it. For me personally, it was difficult. I have no experience and I took a long time to finally complete it. Discord really helped a lot, and reading through / understanding the schematics repeatedly is essential

I’m gonna need a coffee before I render judgement. 😂

Loving the Optimus prime vibe I’m getting from this. Should add flame decals and your set.

This is what I’d suggest to anyone starting out.

You need a yellow ice maker.

Great setup, love the color contrast. I almost did this same thing with a Gaugguino mod. Though I think the Gaggia is an awesome machine for the price, the limitation of a single boiler held me back from this setup. I opt for a HX unit just so I had the headroom for steaming and brewing since I’m doing a couple of milk drinks daily. If I were you, I would have, hold, and love this unit as is. Then when your interest & budget affords, upgrade to a HX or DB unit.
