Just opened a new pack of 1/4 piny jars and all the rings are some type of bent…should I just throw the rings away? The lids themselves are fine.

I’d reach out to Ball – if they’re new, they should replace them.
If you’re like me and have 20,000 extra rings and don’t care, yeah, pitch.

They’re going to be hard to screw on and I’d be worried about them not letting air out as well. Since the last thing you want is a poorly sealed or cracked jar after all that work… I’d just toss them or see if you can get them replaced.

I would pitch it. It’s just not worth the risk.
