Langhe Nebbiolo Rosa Dell Olmo 2021 from Trader Joe’s.
Think I paid $7. Was looking for a cheap food wine to pair with Pappa al Pomodoro. Convinced I could pass this off as a $40 wine pretty easily. Pleasant dryness. Cherries, rasberries, hint of orange rind, black pepper. Really nice.

I was looking at the Trader Joe’s reserve wines with no intention to buy anything and the wine guy there insisted I buy this Nebbiolo. It punches so far above its price point I couldn’t believe it
