It may be a village wine, but from an exceptional lieu-dit: Les Houillères (0.5 ha)
Golden yellow in the glass. Rich and varied on the nose. It explodes with intense aromas of white-fleshed fruits like quince and pear, mixed with notes of ripe citrus and a subtle minerality. Hints of vanilla and toasted almond, indicators of well-balanced maturation in oak barrels that elegantly complements the fruit without overpowering it. Finally, nuances of white flowers and a light touch of sweet spices.
The palate confirms the complexity of the aromas with a rich and enveloping structure. Ripe white fruit blends with a vibrant acidity that brings freshness and liveliness, balancing the wine's richness. The mineral and chalky notes are pronounced, adding depth and persistence. The finish is long and savory, with lingering ripe fruit flavors.

Love this producer. Their aligote is truly a shining star for me- ages better than almost all other aligote imo.
