I used to think it sounded weird, but don't hate it 'til you ate it. I made an Elvis burger that includes bacon and banana slices, (caramelized in the banana grease,) and it absolutely slaps. I completely get it, Elvis.

I like making goobers myself. Current issue I run into is that they are very rich and it can be a bit much sometimes. One thing I’m trying to do is find things that can cut the fat, like some heat or even something acidic. Chopped jalapeño has helped but if anyone has tried anything else I’d love to hear it!

Bacon cheeseburger with peanut butter and jalapeños are my jam (no jam required though). Definitely need a juicy burger for everything to come together.
Shout out to The Red Lion Grog House in Indianapolis for introducing me to “The Waltimate”
Gotta have the bacon with that peanut butter for sure. They both compliment and enhance each other. Adding the beef and cheese just completes the ensemble. One of my favs. ~Bows~

There is a restaurant in West Lafayette IN called Triple XXX. Been a favorite of Purdue Students since 1929. I tried it once and was pleasantly surprised.

There’s a restaurant chain near me called Slater’s 50/50 that has a PB&J burger on their menu. My brother ordered it and gave it a try. I thought it was fine but never had it again.
