Pics are from two different attempts (lighting wasn't my friend apparently)
I did a reverse sear on both and finished them off on the grill.
And as the title pretty much says I just need tips on what I can improve on. Thanks in advance.

I have to say it’s perfect for me
I dunno, looks aces to me. I’m sure someone will call for more crust, but you already have that wall-to-wall mid rare that we all like. Great work here. How was the seasoning?
Looks great! Good work. As far as a whole is concerned though maybe keep the mash and lose the eggs and add some greens. Otherwise looks fantastic
Looks great inside but could use a better crust/sear.
Higher heat on grill and let it get hotter before putting the meat on it for better sear/charring. Also try not seasoning until after you grill it then baste it in butter and rosemary and add salt and pepper once plated. This will stop your seasoning from burning.
Looks great but you could sear it a little longer for a better crust.
Looks awesome!
About the crust – it *could* be better.
Are you patting the steak dry with a paper towel before the sear?
Are you dry brining it, even for an hour if that’s all you’ve got?
Make sure to sear on the highest possible heat you can get and let the iron get hot too.
I like to let my steak rest til room temp before the sear.
The banding is tiny which awesome as some have suggested. Same with the doneness.
You sliced the steak really well. Definitely didn’t butcher it with a hatchet, and I must say your knife must be pretty nice. I would, if we’re being *real* nitpicking here, that in the second photo the slices aren’t uniform in size.
Overall great job. Getting a good crust is hard.
You can give it to me.
Looks perfect to me. Good work!
How about inviting a brother over? 🙂 You’re doing some good work there!
Everything is perfect aside from location. I will send you coordinates on where you should be cooking steaks from now on.
Could use a better crust but it’s cooked through perfectly. A reverse sear with a ripping hot cast iron would be something good to try!
I would be very pleased if I was served that steak at a restaurant. But I would say a touch more of a sear might make it even better.
Learn to make a sauce with whatever pan drippings there may be from the reverse sear amd resting period.
Otherwise, nicely done.
Some seasoning on the eggs, maybe some more crispy whites would make it tastier
Steak looks great, I’d start focusing on different sides. Nothing against what you have there but I would say that is where your area for improvement is.
Looks like you overcooked the egg yolks.
Maybe cut thinner? But that’s personal preference… looks perfect to me.
looks damn good. the temp is consistent if that’s what you were aiming for.
personally I like more char/crust but that’s personal preference.
you did great
Looks nice and if anything maybe you’ll keep getting better at searing. Honestly looks taste to me though dude.
I’d eat that.
Sear can be better. Other than that looks pretty much near perfect.
Put the steak on my plate would be my only tip 🤣🤩
add the pepper after you’ve cooked it while it’s resting. It burns otherwise
Invite me over.
The this plate could be my last meal before execution. Yumm
Runny yolks are delicious on steak. The some yummy mashed turnips you got there as a side?
You can get a better sear

Learn how to cook over medium eggs. Otherwise, it’s perfect.
How about not overcooking the eggs?
Just started? Wtf? This is gold. Gimme
You’re good…I would come over every day if you made this lol
edge to edge, no grey band, if that is your preferred doneness and crust you nailed it.
Yeah but you criminally overcooked those eggs…
Looks perfect.

Thinner slices and real side
Look up a sauce you could pair with it
Perfect
The only think you could do better is to give it to me. Looks fabulous.
Steak and taters look great, cook the egg hotter faster and a bit less
Photography
God job!
You can probably start by cooking me one 👀
I would cook the eggs less but the steak looks awesome!!!
You might want to consume some fiber. Steaks looks good though
looks amazing. but with the standards of this sub I think someone would say need more crust.
