I was going to say invest in a nice chimney starter when I saw the thumbnail, but you can go with a nice candle holder instead.

My husband’s favourite hobby is making fun of my tiny cute appliances. Going to add this to my collection and see who’s laughing after I’ve cooked a whole drumstick all at once!

Watch YouTube videos of people using this grill. There’s a bunch of them and to be honest a lot of people in this sub just comment without knowing the specifics of certain grills.

is this like a self-cremating urn?

Use lump charcoal as it produces much less ash. Airflow is extremely important. Join r/smoking and ask them for advice. You should get more love there. r/kamadojoe and r/biggreenegg are different brands but will be helpful as well. Someone is going to suggest smokingdadbbq on YouTube. His earlier videos are the best introduction for eggs. But his later videos are a bit gimmicky. He goes from amazing teacher to content creator pretty hard. Eggs take time. Make sure you have plenty of time. Can’t believe you won an egg. That’s good fortune.

  7. I have one this size, doesn’t need a big fire or high temp for most things. Yet to master a 6 hour brisket but awesome for steak, lamb, chicken, seafood etc. make a small fire and let it turn to coals. Usually takes around 45 mins. Then cook, crack a beer and enjoy.

Decorate it with jewels and paint swirls, then you’ll have a Faberge egg
