Harvested this last year (lol) and figured it’s time to either use it or toss…
Outside flesh was firm and no issues… cut into it and this is what it looks like. Is this edible? The browning seeds have me second-guessing. Doesn’t smell bad at all, and not mushy.
It’s probably not worth the time/yield but just curious and feeling adventurous.

if it smells good, eat it!
The seeds are often going to go bad in squash stored over the winter. The flesh itself looks great, and I’ve eaten squash that had worse looming seeds than that.
I had a bumper crop last year & I’m still eating them. I just scrape out what looks questionable and figure the rest gets up to high enough heat to kill anything else.
Interested on your storage method
I had one last this long and ate it. The only thing i noticed is it wasnt as sweet as some of the others i ate from the same plant, but it still was good.
