Just made a bottle of soy milk this morning. In the afternoon, I see this when I open the fridge. This is the first time ever I’m seeing it happening this extreme. Usually the pulp sinks to the bottom and doesn’t split that distinctively. I’ve already made a few bottles now from this same batch of soy beans, other turned out nothing like this.

Any ideas on what might have happened?

  1. Wow, looks like someone squeezed a lemon in there or something. Hmmm. Can you squeeze it into a curd and make a soy cheese out of it? Anybody got knowledge of that here? Just spitballing, feel free to ignore if these sorts of things have already been discussed.

Cross contamination, basically something acidic got in it, it’s curds and whey now. You can filter the curds and press it into tofu. The whey is super nutritious too.
