    I don’t go to that many omakase, but my favorites are:

    – bonito: very tender and also quite fatty
    – ankimo: tender and flavorful, paired with pickled watermelon
    – tunas: all smooth as butter
    – uni: I loves uni
    – anago: it has the right amount of caramelization, best I have tried

  4. I enjoyed it when I went, had second counter. Didn’t have huge expectations, but it was fantastic for a second counter. Masa was, *hands down*, my favorite meal of the trip, maybe of my life.

    I thought the main counter with Arai-san didn’t allow photos (except the tuna piece, weirdly enough). Has he relaxed that rule?
