I asked a week ago for an order to be canceled and was assured that my refund would be given within a week. I just noticed that my account has a credit for the same amount and this was the response. I want my $250 back and not in credit towards future purchases. Guess everyone is getting Nespresso themed Christmas presents this year.

    > That’s crazy. Wish there was some way to get my money back, but I guess not. Thank You.

Kinda own goaled yourself there, just politely escalate it to next level CS and tell them that you did indeed ask for it refunded back to your original payment method, bit early to tap out. Keep escalating higher until they sort it out for you hopefully. If you have any email or other proof of such, even better. Good Luck!

You were far too polite, you need to be harder with customer service, not rude or angry, but stern and not taking any other answer than the one you want.

Why would you just agree to it like that? Stand up for yourself! There’s no reason they can’t take that credit back and issue the refund.

You can get a refund. Ask for a higher up- it happened to me when they lost my package twice.

Are you based in europe? If so, proceed to write a complaint to your consumer rights representative. Nespresso is going to change their mind pretty quickly right after.

It depends.. What form of payment did you use? Usually it gets refunded back to the form if payment used unlessit was like paypal or something then there are different refund procedures is my guess.

That’s crazy, I was given a money refund without asking.
I would press for the money, not credit. They definitely can, and do, money refunds.

There’s a new process for the returns. Don’t use it.
