Hello everyone! I'm on the hunt for Šúľance s makom, a traditional Slovak dish. These are soft potato-based dumplings, somewhat similar to gnocchi, typically topped with ground poppy seeds, sugar, and melted butter. Sometimes they come with whipped cream or fruit (like cherries), as shown in the picture. It's a popular sweet dish in Slovakia, often enjoyed as a dessert or a light meal. Does anyone know of any restaurants or bakeries in NYC that serve this dish or something similar? Thanks in advance!
