Beautiful work! You should make cups and sell them yourself

That’s the cup of a carpenter!

I’d pay $65 for that cup. How many ml? Is it between 120 and 150???

Its not that high of temp. Even Olive oil smoke point is above 200F. You can use avocado oil, Flax seed oil. But they all might give off a flavor, though avocado is pretty neutral. There are others. Maybe a option to coat it with NSF epoxy ?
I like it a lot! it doesn’t change temp, and insulated. I wonder how dense cherry wood is? I know they make the large soup spoons with olive tree wood.

The pics are so comforting 🥰 Cute hand, craftsmanship and a natural material is so cozy.

I use Odie’s Oil on a lot of my pieces and it’s pretty good, but I’ve never used it in a liquid-holding piece though

That is awesome. I’d imagine the coffee oils will eventually make it sealed
It looks stunning. Holy….. great job!
You were inspired by an item you saw at the Nespresso store or website – good for you – let us know about the finish
Fill it with rice and it’s a WDT cup.
Now put it in the dishwasher
