I grew jalapeños and cayennes in close proximity last year and saved the seeds from both for this year.. did I accidentally cross breed my peppers? These “cayennes” are much more plump and way longer than any of the chillis I had last year

Look like big Thai hybrids
Calapeno? Jayenne?

My cyannes are just turning red and they are larger than expected as well. Not much flavor which I’m kinda sad about.

This is a different plant. These are much more slim and not as long that’s what’s making me think I may have a hybrid. (Fingers for scale)
Would be interesting, but I have cayenne growing in my gardens right now and they look exactly like this. Never once cultivated jalapeños in the same area.
