Had the worst biscuit in my life at Budlong’s today
And a mid chicken sandwich 😔
The biscuit was so dry and hard even though it was damn near a fresh biscuit. the strawberry jam didn’t save it either. just horrible all around

I’m with you. Just went there a week ago for the first time and was not impressed. Chicken was burnt. Mac tasted plastic. I was hoping for much more.

There was a time maybe about 4 years ago those biscuits used to be some of the best in the city. Budlong dropped the ball hard, I never see anyone there anymore

I had the new and improved roost the other day and their sandwich, biscuits, and fries were sooo good and I don’t like heavy food like that typically, especially fries.

From the picture, the biscuit looks fine but I know biscuit looks can be deceiving and dry in the middle

I first tried Budlong when they first opened their Hyde Park location. It was a solid 4/10 and I was completely unimpressed. People online and here on reddit kept raving about it, so I tried again, thinking the first time may have been issues stemming from the new opening. I was again extremely disappointed. Place is over hyped .
