Hey guys,
The fees charged by delivery apps have gotten crazy the past few months, so I built an app to get around them. It works by placing orders for pickup, then scheduling Relay – the company that restaurants use to deliver orders – to pickup order and bring it to you. Because pickup orders don't have service fees, and Relay charges a flat fee for a delivery, you can end up saving a lot of money, especially on larger orders. You even get a great tracking experience just like all the other apps.
The app is free and doesn't charge any fees. The way it makes money is it asks for an "optional service fee" of $1 (aka a tip) when you place an order. It's optional because you don't have to pay it.
Please check it out and let me know what you think! It was built by one person – me – so there will be some stuff that's a little clunky, but it works.
