Once a year or so, we order Katz to our house which isn’t as horrific as it sounds because they do free shipping over $100. I don’t like rye so this is sourdough. I’ll take pastrami, layer swiss on it and throw it in the air fryer at 375F for about 7 minutes. Then I’ll throw the sourdough on the same pan and air fry all of it for another few minutes – the bread gets this nice crusty, slightly fried texture. The bread gets Katz deli mustard on one side and house dressing (from a local sandwich shop) on the other.

If that’s all you got meat wise that’s a sad excuse for a pastrami sandwich

Have you eaten at Katz before? If so, how does it compare. I miss that deli but now live in HI so if it’s close, I’m tempted.
My wife is from Chicago and we got deep dish pizza delivered and it wasn’t the same.
