Forty-two pounds of tomatoes from my garden is now a base for tomato bisque soup. Also halved my cherry tomatoes and made bruschetta.

    How did you make a base for tomato soup? Is it shelf stable or do you plan to freeze it? Did you make a “just add water” sort of base?

    I was just about to make a bulk batch of soup with all my tomatoes and basil, but don’t quite know where to start. I was thinking of adding cream from the local dairy
