I can’t say the food is bad. I think it is a very sanitized version of hand-pulled noodles. It’s not the same as others I have had. I got the beef boat noodle soup and my friend got the chicken noodle soup. I think the meal itself was pretty good, but I had Xi’an earlier this week and that seriously blew me out of the water.
I am willing to give Lao Peng You another try, but I just wasn’t super impressed!
