I wouldn't know any better since it's the only one available in my area. It says "Kewpie Trading Europe" and ingredients are the same as I googled, but bottle has only one cap.

It’s a different version. In the USA that version’s formula has uses more egg whites, less yolks and other stuff. If you are looking for the taste like in Japan then yeah you got the wrong one. You can google US vs Japan Kewpie to see the differences.

Never heard of fake kewpie, so I doubt you will have an issue.

QP doesn’t like distributing product made for the Japanese market outside of Japan
they have their own affiliate in NA and EU that make products for those regions due to different regulations with ingredients

This version doesnt taste like the one thats imported from japan in my opinion. Tastes cheap and doesnt have the lovely creamy kewpie flavour
