No better way to start your chimney than free weekly ads from your local grocer.

Any color printed paper gives off toxic fumes when burned.

I like using the paper that comes in Amazon packages

I use my deep fat fryer. 20 seconds on that and no ash mess.

Works! But I only use a a last resort. The shiny pages are extra smoky.

    I like tumbleweed starters.

I grab a handful every time I go to the store!

Little bit of veggie oil makes it burn little hotter and longer.

I usually use the charcoal bag, I find it burns a bit better than the ads.

  8. I use s single high power propane burner with the chimney. No more newspaper ash.

My food lion is like a $1 more on those deals 🙁

I like to get paper bags at the grocery store and use those to start the fire. There is minimal colored ink and the thicker paper burns well for a nice chimney full of glowing charcoal.

Good price on the chicken. I just paid $1.29/lb

I have old phone books I saved. I tear one page out and twist it up and put a little vegetable oil on it. Works great. I will be dead way before one phone book is used up. I’m going to pass them down to my Son and tell him to keep plugging away at the one I used and think of Dad each time he tears a page out to cook on the grill. 🙏🙏🙏

Was always told the color was poisonous??

HPT do it on bricks or on your driveway. The heat generated from the coals will aid in the deterioration of the cooking surface.

  16. With close neighbors, I prefer my propane torch.

I use part of the bag of charcoal

  18. Dryer lint stuffed in an empty tp tube . Add some veggie oil for a little extra flame.

My neighbor decided to get the newspaper delivered, to my home. Thank you neighbor.
