Village Tap in Roscoe Village has been my “local” for a while now, and their food never seems to disappoint.
One of the many simple bars with surprisingly great food.
These are their short rib nachos ($17), which, true to their name, have a gigantic hunk of short rib.
The cheese curds ($12) are well-fried and good and squeaky.
