Thankful for this community for teaching me so much. Starting my journey with a Bambino Plus and DF54.

About to get the df54 as soon as im able! How is it for you? Im coming from a smart grinder pro so Im having issues with inconsistency, large steps and some retention, does the df54 have any of those issues? Does the stock catch cup fit the 54 mm portafilter?

I just got the same setup today and SO FRUSTRATED. I can’t seem to get a drinkable double shot. I got the DF54 set to 23 and just getting a short super bitter black as the night shot. Don’t really know what to do.
23 on the DF54 should be plenty coarse, right?!?
Help!

I just bought the same setup! Waiting on delivery and can’t wait 🤩 somewhat modest but I have too many hobbies as it is and need to make some value purchases somewhere. And from what I have heard it is indeed an incredible value setup.

Hello!
After several weeks of reading on various websites and here on Reddit, I’ve come to the same conclusion as you regarding a first purchase 🙂
I haven’t swiped my credit card yet, but this is very likely the set I’ll be going for as well!
Beautiful setup 🙂

I have the same setup friend and I’m pulling shots that I believe taste as good as and in some cases better than coffee shops.
Only thing I’d recommend is using a thermometer with the steam wand if you’re using the auto feature. I find it makes the milk way too hot. Nice 65 degrees for me.

I’m eyeing this exact setup. I’m very noob so I’m little afraid making a coffee is too much of a hassle. Now using Senseo or Nespresso with a separate foamer, which of course can’t be compared to….
How long does it take you all with all to make a cappucino or something else with foam?
And how is your experience compared to your previous setup?
I’m thinking to do a Sage workshop to just experience the whole process…..
