Photos should be in the order of the menu. Last two images were veg options my friend got.

I never thought the normal Rooh menu was worth the price compared to normal Indian restaurants. However i loved the innovative takes on Indian dishes at Indienne and was curious how Rooh’s tasting menu, ROOP, would compare.

Overall, i was impressed. I thought the Vada Pav, Rogan Josh, and Gulab Jamun were the highlights. Very cool and flavorful takes on classics. Scallops were also in a very rich and tasty gravy. Didn’t find the Butter Chicken and Crack the Egg, where they literally drop an egg made out of vanilla, coconut, and mango out of an egg carton on to your plate, as as tasty, but was still a fun experience. The final course was Chai with marshmallows we got to roast on a fire pit and really nice chocolate eclairs.

Overall, was a much more whimsical experience than i expected. Would definitely recommend! $95 plus $18 for truffle on the butter chicken (wasnt worth it imo) and $16 for a cocktail.
