Like the title says I know it's not a hot sauce so don't bash me too hard but on a serious note if you haven't tried the Flatiron pepper company stuff you're seriously missing out. I first had it at a restaurant in Sedona, AZ and fell in love (even the original has a very nice kick). I just recently received the "I can't feel my face" and well…. it is definitely named appropriately. Very nice heat, amazing flavor, and best part is you can use it in/on almost anything because it's just pure pepper flakes.

No you don’t need their grinder. I wish they sold in larger quantities, it’s kind of a pain if you use any of their products regularly and need to reorder it, yes I do understand you can get more than one bottle.
edit: grammar
I have been looking for a replacement for the trader Joe’s smoked ghost pepper flakes now that they were discontinued. Planning on trying flatiron next. I had looked at some stuff they had previously and didn’t seen anything that was both super hot and smokey, but it looks like they have one called “smoke show” I didn’t see before that will be perfect.
I tried this stuff once in pizza and it hurt my insides. I love the flavor and heat but for some reason it gives me actual pain in my stomach after I eat it.
Delish, but man it’s pricey!
PLEASE try Hell Flakes. I personally choose that
CANNOT recommend this stuff enough. I actively keep like 4-5 different flavors/pepper blends. Luckily, I live in Denver so this stuff is sold almost everywhere
A few more months of saving and i will finally ascend !
I have these and 3 other flavors I got in a 4-pack. Can confirm they are spicy as hell. The less spicy ones are excellent if you’re not at the level of putting ghost pepper and Carolina reaper on your morning eggs.
Oh yeah great stuff

This stuff is incredible. I use it on lots of different things. Chili, Salsa, pizza, popcorn, etc. But it’s too hot for most of the people I cook for. Regardless, Flatiron is a great company and has some really delicious pepper blends.
This one is also really tasty, and slightly less spicy, and my go-to for friends who aren’t such crazy pepperheads. Still really hot, but not quite “Melt your face” hot:

My colon would burst into flames
I kinda wimped out and went for sweet heat at 60k Scoville to try it and it’s absolutely delicious, but I could do with some more heat.
Also tried Calabrian, which is way more about flavor than heat, and it absolutely rules. Takes anything with red sauce to the next level and wildly good on eggs.
