Audition #15: Yes, yes, we like, we like

Cacio e pepe
Ingredients:

For the pasta:
100 g 00 flour
1 medium egg (approx. 55 g)

For the sauce:
4 tbsp Oatly Oat Drink
20 g plant-based parmesan
Black pepper
Salt

Prepare the pasta by mixing the flour and egg until a smooth dough forms. Cover and let rest for 30 minutes. In a pasta machine or by hand, roll out the pasta dough and cut into tagliatelle. Boil water with a generous pinch of salt, then add your pasta (note that fresh pasta takes roughly 2 to 3 minutes to cook).

Grate the plant-based parmesan in a bowl and mix in the Oatly Oat Drink and a pinch of salt. Put a pan on medium heat and toast a generous amount of black pepper until it becomes fragrant. Add a small scoop of the pasta water. Mix and turn off the heat.

Lift pasta out of the pasta water and add to the pan with pepper. Add the plant-based parmesan and oat drink mixture and stir together well. Put pasta on a plate, top with extra black pepper, and serve immediately.
