Before my sister passed from Leukemia, she taught me how to make the best bread I’ve ever had. I’m still learning but I miss her everyday and want to make her proud.

I’m so sorry for your loss, but know you are making her proud, each and every day. May every loaf you make be infused with the love you and your sister had for each other. ❤️

Just curious, but was she cremated or buried? If cremated, have you tried adding a little bit of her ash pre-bake? You know, really make her a part of it. So thoughtful. You did wonderful!

This is a cropped photo from [this post](https://www.reddit.com/r/Breadit/comments/1fook63/poolish_changed_my_life/) made only 11 minutes before yours, and going through your post history you claim your sister passed from Leukemia, your grandfather passed from COVID, your little brother died from menorrhagia (heavy menstrual bleeding), your other(?) brother died from an overdose, your son died from COVID, and your wife also died from COVID, and also your grandfather suffered from metrorrhagia (irregular uterine bleeding).

So sorry for your loss! You learned extremely well and this is an exceptionally beautiful looking loaf! 🤍

Give a person a loaf of bread and you feed them for a week; teach them to bake and you feed them for a lifetime.
