I forgot I had this. It was jn the fridge nice and cold. Expiry date is almost a year ago (October 2023)
Smells fine. Not slimy.
The fat tore a bit when I cut it like paper ripping.
Should be safe to fry up with onions and toss over a pasta, right?

Year old meat in the fridge would not be for me, especially if it’s that small amount. Maybe good, but I’m okay on that.

It would help if you had frozen it. it would last for 3 years or more. Better luck next time.

You need to clean your fridge … nothing should be in there that long …no way on anything that old
