Just had a blast recreating a McDonald's Triple Cheeseburger and decided to give the air fryer a shot! Smashed the patties nice and thin, seasoned them with a mix of salt, pepper, and onion powder. Threw some finely diced onions on top to let all those juices seep in while cooking. Once they were done, melted some cheddar, added pickles and raw onions for that extra crunch, and hit it with the infamous five squirts of mustard and ketchup. Finished it off with the top bun—flavor was spot on, so accurate to the real thing!

Not a huge fan of multiple patties, but that my friend, is burger porn…
This is obviously all subjective and you can do whatever you want, but if you are trying to mimic McDonald’s then there are a few things you will want to change.
1. Their small patties are exactly 1.6 ounces.
2. They use salt & pepper only, no onion powder.
3. They use basic American cheese, not cheddar.
Do with this what you will.
Can i get that with an order of unsalted fries please!? I’ll take some bbq and sweet and sour sauces too!
I wish I could get that at mcdonald’s
