Thanks to everyone who helped with suggestions last night 🙂
This is my first ever attempt at hot sauce. It’s made with habaneros and carrot from my garden.
I used this recipe https://www.chilipeppermadness.com/recipes/habanero-hot-sauce/ as a starting point and Marie Sharps hot habanero sauce as a reference for what I wanted mine to taste like. Instead of 1c of vinegar I squeeezed a whole lime into a 1c measure and topped the rest with vinegar. I left out the herbs and spices as Marie’s doesn’t use them, and at the very end I put about a teaspoon of maple syrup to finish it off because we put maple syrup in everything in Vermont.
It came out great!

I love the maple syrup rational. You had no choice!
Looks great by the way.
Looks awesome! I’m growing some purple peppers and am thinking of doing a spicy blueberry-maple hotsauce
