Anyone else strain their broth through a jelly bag?
It gets a lot of sediment out

I don’t (I don’t can broth, just freeze it and don’t mind sediment) but I’ve used the jelly bag for making cheese, works great!

no I don’t I’ve always used cheese cloth.. never thought of using on of the countless jelly bags i own……

You don’t have to do this. Just put it in the fridge after it cools to room. The next day you can scoop Off the fat and slowly poor off the clear broth leaving the sediment behind.
