  1. You can use non-processed cheese the same way. My favorite cheese to make crackers out of is havarti. ❤

  2. I feel like I had said “not as sweet as that skittles drink” almost in perfect timing with you. It was spooky

  3. Wow, Rachel, you were so speedy with the tortillas! Fastest recipe of the video. Amazing! 😊😂

  4. Drain the grease before adding anything, even the garlic. Add some Italian seasoning, more salt and pepper, a teeny bit of sugar or honey to cut the acidity of the tomato paste, sour cream instead of cream cheese OR all cream (may have meant heavy/whipping cream), then let it burble for a couple of minutes. It isn't BAD, it's just … rushed, IMO.

  5. These look interesting, indeed. I'mma have to try the tortilla bit and the 'cheese' puffs. I can't believe they crisped up! Also, as far as 'quick and easy' recipes; have you tried pepperoni and salami 'chips'? You sandwich pepperoni and/or hard salami slices between about 3+ layers of paper towels and microwave for about a minute, possibly more (YMMV depending on your microwave) and they end up with a really nice crisp, because they're basically quick-fried in their own fat, but the paper towels soak most of it up. Great with cheese or the usual charcuterie-type things. Obviously great if you're doing low-carb and miss the crunch of potato chips, as well as the salt, because these little devils retain all their salt. Chris will probably love 'em. grin
    Thanks, Rachel! 😁👍🏼💜

  6. If you would have stacked those tortillas and cut them with a pizza cutter you could have completed that one in about a minute. I mean you were soooo speedy but you could have been speedier

  7. I think it is only fair that the recipes take you over the set timer because if you were only cooking that dish then you might have taken only 5 minutes, but here you're recording a video, giving us updates and making that dish all at once so they're taking more time.
    Anyways, I love your vibe❣️

  8. Would love for you to do a Ramen hack video as you love ramen as much as most of us do. I add cheese and chicken since seeing you do it but sure there are other hacks. (Best hack I was given was to drain the ramen and only add seasoning after

  9. I believe that the cream cheese the creator used in the beef gnocchi is seasoned, so that's probably why he didn't add much else…well anything really. I've never found it in the store, but have seen recipes that use it.

  10. just fried the gnocchis lil in the pan, cut mozzarella in mini cubes, cut basil. than everything in a bowl with lil salt and pepper and a tablespoon of oliveoil and mix it. 5 min and very nice =)

  11. I think the microwave gets hot too fast for the cheese to melt. Kind of what happened with bread today. I left it in the sun so much to melt it (it was frozen) that the bread became crispy. So I'm thinking the cheese doesn't even have enough time to actually melt before it bubbles and goes all crunchy. Might have to try this with some lactose free cheese and see. I think it would work great as a dumb snack.

  12. Just made a gnocchi recipe similar, but ground sausage, butter and mushrooms or spinach or both, all sautéed in a pan, then alfredo sauce and pesto(mine was nut free for your benefit 😊) and gnocchi and let simmer in sauce for 4-5 minutes, so yummy!

  13. Philly doesn’t make their cooking cream anymore. It came in different seasoning varieties—Santa Fe, Italian, Garlic, Pesto and Lemon & Herb. It was supposed to be a ready mix-in to jazz up your meals.
Their hack for replicating it at home is a one tub of their cream cheese spread, 2T of milk and then:
    Pesto—mix in 2T pesto
    Italian—mix in 1T Italian seasoning
Garlic—mix in 1/2T of garlic powder
Santa Fe—mix in 2T of taco seasoning mix
Lemon & Herb—mix in 1t lemon zest, 2T lemon juice,1/2t garlic powder, 1/4t black pepper
Obviously these can be tweaked and you should salt to taste.
    (Thank you Pinterest.)

All that said, besides ground beef not browning in 5 minutes, it would have been about 5 minutes to assemble and be ready if you had the Italian cooking cream. The seasoning would have also been in said cooking cream. So I’d try making your own version of their cooking cream and then retry recipe.

  14. Wow!!! You had those tortillas done lickity-split!!! 😁😉 lol Love Christopher's inside toast joke😂

  15. The second recipe you can't make this in 5 minutes..
The ground beef must cook for 20 minutes!!!

  16. Kraft Singles can't actually be considered real cheese because they contain less than 51% cheese. So just that alone tells me it'll likely to act differently than normal cheese would. My educated guess is that the microwave makes it bubble up; but unlike heating a Kraft single on a stove were it will bubble and melt, the intensity of the microwaves probably 'fry' the thin membranes of 'cheese' before they deflate, leaving a puff. So I think the grosses part about it is just the Kraft single itself, I don't think microwaving really makes it any worse. So if you're ok not looking too closely into what the other 49% of the ingredients are, then go ahead and make them. 🤷🤣
