It could be that the mixture was very heavy? Otherwise, did you slice it while it was still hot?

you have to wait until cooled but how did it taste thats what is important you will get it right over time Keep at it

It looks totally OK but my opinion says maybe just not enough tension in the final shaping.

Next time, wait to cut into it several hours after pulling out of the oven.

Can you share the recipe? My wife and I have yet been able to get a bread to form a nice ear (oven spring?).
