Quick 35-Minute Recipe for a Healthy Meal.
Another simple to make recipe, perfect when you’re in a hurry but still crave a restaurant quality meal at home. This Cod or any thick white fish recipe combines Asian flavours with a fresh, zesty twist, making it a perfect light and healthy meal. I used Australian Blue Eye fish which is quite thick. If your fish is thinner, adjust cooking time accordingly.

This dish is inspired by my travels in Asian countries, using basic ingredients like soy sauce, sesame oil, which bring an umami-rich depth, and bok choy for a healthy green.

The wine of course is the French in me, but you could just fish stock instead if wine is not your thing.

The new season of a fresh spinning lemon adds a subtle freshness, while the fresh coriander keeps it vibrant.

As an option, you can top it with fried shallots for that nice texture and hint of onion flavour, but that’s optional. You could fry them yourself in oil on a lower heat, or buy them already made from Asian stores.

Give this recipe a go, you’ll be amazed at the flavour!👉 Get this written recipe here: https://recipe30.com/baked-asian-cod-and-rice.html/

  4. Thank you for this simple recipe. I love that you use regular boy choy. I usually use baby bok choy because they seem more versatile. I ran out of recipes and creative ways to cook regular bok choy. I love your bowl and how you have trained Kenji so well. Is he a dainty eater? Most dogs would just inhale any food! 😂

  5. Kenji looks really charming in his elegant classic black and white suit, he just needs a tie ♥
The combination of coriander, garlic, and lemon makes this fish otherworldly, even though it's so easy and so simple.
It will be the first thing I do tomorrow.
Thanks for sharing, my best Chef🌷

  6. I watch your video when I do a lunch break. It helps me figure out what we are having and it makes me happy. Love the music, recipe and puppy dog!

  7. You should try doing the high five before he gets the treat. My wife and I trained our dogs that way. 😂 It became so funny they would frantically give you a high five while sitting waiting for their treat. Sometimes Aiden would give me three or four high fives because he was so excited for his treat. My friends that would come over got a kick out of it.

  8. Mmmmm ! A dish to die for ! I love cod and I love bok choy. The fried shallots are a great addition . . . and Kenji for desert !!!
