This is my first attempt at ever par-baking a pie, Took me half the day to do, but I feel proud of myself that I finished it. I was so worried I was going to crack the pie dough when I was rolling it. When I plated the dough, It wasn’t perfectly lined, I was pretty worried it would shrink, but it didn’t.
I had trouble making the vanilla custard, but with some nice advice from folks on this thread I was able to save it. Thank you to those people. Here is too many more pies, and more beautiful and delicious ones in the future.

the fact you took the first step and made an attempt is already something to be proud of yourself for! I would definitely try this pie, some whip cream on it sounds so yummy
