I made a chocolate collar for the first time and I love how it came out. It’s also vaguely sinister.

She’s vanilla cake with caramel pastry cream filling and caramel creme mousseline frosting. Chocolate had nothing to do with it, really; I just wanted to make a collar.

    Looks delicious!

It looks like it would be really good with some fruits in there

Once I made one with different colors of candy melts and it was cool looking but so difficult to cut! How did you cut yours?

Looks Fab!! How did you bend it around the cake without cracking/breaking apart?

I like it, but I think I would put the “flat” side inside, and the volume side outside.

I have only ever made one and its such a satisfying thing to do!

Your edges are impressive – no breakage that I can see…Well done!

Very eye catching, and I bet delicious! Looks like a prison fence for the sprinkles on top

That poor cake is doing time! It’s innocent!

    It looks really impressive.

I’ve always wanted to make the ‘Maltesers cake’ – where you use bubble wrap to get the bubble effect.

Just never get round to it though.
