This isn't that bad I didn't think . I drink 2 to 3 espresso/ aeropresses a day. I use the same grind size for both because it works very well for my taste. I even clean out around the body of the grinder. What do yall think?
I’m new here trying to learn about grinders and I assumed that was a little tv screen with some guy named Eureka Mignon on it . Hahaha. I had to do some googling and now I know what’s going on ! Sorry buddy , Reddit can be a cruel place .

Not even joking, I appreciate you kept the post up even after the face mishap. 99% of people these days would have deleted the post as well as your account. Who gives a fuck? Good on ya, seriously.

I have a Simonelli that is the grandfather of that grinder. Sits in the cabinet tuned for French press for exactly that reason.

Nah but I think a good result of using grindz will do the trick and a little rdt will help with the retention also

I have the normal mignon and I typically pull out ~3g as well. Coffee collects around the burr and the de-clumper.

Kudos for the well polished and clean grinder.

If we assume the eight months is roughly 240 days and you grind three 18 gram espressos per day that’s 0.0125 grams per day or 0.00023 grams per grind. That’s a deal even a Scotsman could love. However, at the end of the day it’s more about how the coffee tastes and the ability to get to the flavour you’re after and consistently deliver it without fussing every day or every four bags of coffee. Something I’ve found the Eureka grinders to be very good at.

I get between .2g and .3g in the chute of my df83v2 from grinding 3×22.5g each morning= 66.5g of beans total. I also use a chopstick in the chute at final cleanup so I’m clear for the next morning.
Here’s this morning almost .3g as I weighed it and it was on the edge.. the scale was flipping between .2 and .3g
I came here expecting to see memes of the face in the grinder and was not disappointed. Kudos to OP for being a good sportsman.

How do you find switching between grind setting for espresso/aeropress on the mignon? I was thinking of getting this grinder but apprehensive as it sounds to be a pain unless you want espresso only.

Is it an easy task cleaning the grinder?
