Normally I pull my tomatoes around this time in zone 5b but these beauties – Striped German are loving this weather. I have a cluster of 9 large tomatoes that keep getting bigger.

Just so you know, USDA zones are solely a measure of the average single lowest temperature in the winter and don’t say anything else about the climate, such as the fall temperature trends and average first frost that determine how long tomatoes will go. There’s certainly some correlation, but less than people generally expect. For example, York Beach, ME, has a substantially later average first than Olympia, WA, despite being in zone 5 to Olympia’s zone 8.
