I started canning this week. I’ve been watching videos and such. Is the third picture ok? It’s chicken soup. I didn’t add enough broth but everything is covered.. the jar is just big. Is that ok!? The first picture is ground pork and the second is beef stew. Any help is so appreciated and tips : tricks.

  2. Youtube is not a good or safe source for canning information. You need to find recipes that have been tested for safety and follow proper canning practices. Our wiki on the right is a good place to start. There is a learning curve with regards to pressure canning. Bringing the canner up and down from pressure gradually will help with a lot of siphoning issues. Following proper headspace guidelines is also important. Can you link to the recipes that were used?
