Was trying to make a biscuit frosting decoration across the sides of the cake, but it came out of the oven too short so I had to make this giant freckle of a cake.
The biscuit and frosting definitely went well, sponge is moist and all. But presentation wise? Idk, just seems like frosting and cake.

When cut open. Yes. Before being cut open I would totally eat it but I don’t think it looks beautiful.
I know it seems to be a lot of frosting, but I used this one recipe that was a little (a lot) complicated, but it only used 1 cup sugar so it was a much better option. Tastes as sweet as regular tho.
Would I serve this to a party? No. Would I make this as something for myself and if my roomies took a slice would I be offended? Yeah I’d totally make this and share it with people for myself. It’s not BAD it’s not OFFENSIVE, but it’s not something that’d be served, BUT should still be enjoyed and eaten. It cut into looks better then it not, because when not It’d looked like a failed attempt at a Giant Cake pop thing, and I see what you were doing, I’d take that cake chunk and run it with an egg beater or electric whisk until finer pieces, more like a crumbly dust, dry it out lightly in the oven, not burnt, just a bit more powdery, and then sprinkle it on top, that’s really the only offensive part for lack of a better word. The frosting job is great.
I love the frosting ratio 😋
To my eyes it’s like a humongous choccy chip cookie which is very inviting, then you cut into it, and it’s delicious looking cake!! I love it! Yummm
Not necessarily beautiful but definitely delicious
You’re asking for honesty, so…I thought I was looking at a steak and cheese pizza on the cooking sub before I realized I was looking at a frosting on the baking sub lol. But cut open, it looks wonderful! But definitely don’t mind me on presentation comment, you should see what my biscuits look like on the regular. I’m no pro, that’s for sure, so for me, the point is does it taste good? Anyway, I’d eat it.
Maybe crumble the biscuits more and go for more full coverage next time but when I look at that I know it’s gonna be gooooood.
GET IN MY BELLY!!
Pipe some swirls, add some maraschino cherries and some flower petals and you’ve got yourself a trendy cake!
Okay so, with the biscuits it appears to have a crunchy texture, but it’s actually quite the opposite, the biscuits soften in the frosting and combine into an amazing flavour (specifically with these biscuits, if you know choc-ripple cakes then you get what I mean)
It looks delicious
When cut 6/10. Before the cut 2/10
Yes
In-terms of baked goods I could care less about the appearance, although this cake don’t look bad. But the proof is in the pudding, if it’s tasty it’s all good.
I have to say, the crumb on that cake is absolutely perfect, love that.
If you can’t tell yet you should probably test another slice.
Are you German? It looks like a Maulwurfkuchen (mole cake) from Germany
The answer is yes. To all questions regarding this creation, it’s yes dammit
I think the photos Dont do it justice. But I’d still eat 🤤
I would have chosen to crumble the cookies entirely and it still wouldn’t look great but it would be more even. The domed shape and clunky cookies make it look heavy but cut open it’s very even and looks much better
I think it looks absolutely delicious both cut open and whole. If I was left alone with that it would be gone in less than 5 minutes and I don’t even relay know what it is
Definitely
