Hello everyone! I recently got an espresso machine and coffee grinder for my birthday :). Before this I had a Nespresso machine and mostly drank lungo.
Someone told me that a lungi is just two shots of espresso with coffee for one shot. But whenever I do this there’s almost no crema and it just looks weird. It also doesn’t taste as good as my Nespresso.
And when I brew espresso sometimes the crema is all bubbled and it is just not a delightful shot.
I’ve been experimenting with the dose and the coarseness and the tamping pressure. But I don’t really understand the impact of each factor.
Do you guys have any basic tips on how to get a better shot out of this machine?
