Continuing my mission to make as many sandwiches from The Encyclopedia of Sandwiches (by Susan Russo) as I can, #14 is the ham sandwich. It was pretty boring. I used the the thinnest smear of mustard, but it didn't add much. I think the smoked salmon and such has spoiled my palate. There isn't much else to say about this sandwich; if you're hungry, it's not bad.

Plain and simple! Not an untoasted bread fan, carved ham is delicious and I salute your mission 🫡

I really like to see your posts… the sandwiches look great, I love the way you make them match the book, and I feel like I’m along for the sandwich journey.
    Enjoy!

One of my standard fallbacks. Not the most exciting sandwich but it is a good option to shove in your snap tin. It has longevity for a packed workman’s lunch.
