Bruschetta
Mama’s homemade bruschetta takes on a whole new depth with the addition of an 18-year-old balsamic drizzle from our friends @nuvo_olive_oil The crisp, toasted bread is crowned with juicy tomatoes, fresh basil, and a hint of garlic, creating a vibrant base of flavors. But it’s the aged balsamic, rich and perfectly mellow, that steals the show-its deep sweetness balancing the brightness of the tomatoes and adding a luxurious touch.
The second version takes a savory twist, topped with chopped olives that add a briny, earthy richness, also from @nuvo_olive_oil
This bold variation enhances the tomatoes’ sweetness and the bread’s crunch, offering a vibrant contrast in flavors. Both are a testament to my mother’s ability to take traditional ingredients and create something extraordinary-whether it’s the refined sweetness of aged balsamic or the robust kick of olives, each bite brings a taste of home 😊
Which one would you try first. 🥰

2 cups water
2 tablespoons of dry yeast
4 tablespoons of olive oil
2 tablespoons of salt

Mix all ingredients well and kneed into a ball. let sit for thirty minutes. Cut and shape dough into baguettes. Place your baguettes on a large pizza tray and Cover them well. let rise for two hour min.
Preheat the oven at 350 degrees.
Before you bake, brush olive oil on the baguettes. Now bake your bread until light golden brown color. Once cooked remove from oven and allow to cool. Now slice into half inch pieces and place back on the tray and into the oven until lightly crispy.
After a few minutes remove your tray with bread slices and add your topping. Mommas choice of bruschetta topping was fresh tomatoes with garlic fresh basil and olive oil. Another was purchased at the farmers market in little Italy; it was the chopped green olive spread and it was delicious! We drizzle nuvo balsamic vinegar from Modena on top and enjoy.

  1. The music selection is pure love and the food, the joy…I love everything Lady Anna, please continúe, I am your fan indeed ❤

  2. This is a Mexican song called "Sabor a mi" by one of the greatest composers in Mexican musical history: Álvaro Carrillo. And that the great Luis Miguel currently sings.
