I saw the dessert tasting menu at Castle on Coal brought up on here and was very interested. It was amazing and I would highly recommend! The candle was butter, and I got to make s’mores with our own bonfire in the dark. My favourite was the second course honey &damson and the fourth course calamansi. The pecan financier I didn’t like the individual components as much separately but it was still good all together. I think that mostly a me thing though since I don’t love dark chocolate. We were sent home with granola and madeleines. I had a snack two hours before I went, which I think is the right move. It’s not as much food as a normal tasting menu but it’s still plenty.
